Help us to support build the brighter future of the children in our communities in Sierra Leone

Education is powerful and empowering, although not everyone has access to what should be a basic human right. Hundreds of thousands of children who are living in poverty simply do not have a basic education, denying them the ability to read and write – which then denies them the prospect of a brighter future.

Over the past 10 years, Islamic Dawah Training Centre is proud to say we have provided access to education for over 1,000 children in Mile 91 in Tonkolili District and Freetown the capital City in the Western Area in Sierra Leone. This includes Skills training for unemployed youth and school dropout, Formal and informal education (Quran memorization).

Islamic Dawah Training Centre is a leading charity NNGO in Sierra Leone helping orphans, disabled, destitute children and unemployed youth in Tonkolili District and the Western Area. We believe that every child has the right to a fulfilling childhood, and we strive to help the young people who are struggling the most. We aim to provide safety and comfort for the underprivileged children within our areas of operations, giving them access to proper education and allowing them to grow in a caring and comfortable environment.

By providing a strong foundation for children by ensuring they have access to education in their early years.
By training teachers and provide facilities for preschool children with conducive learning environments tailored to support the culture of learning.
By providing skills training and financial assistance to support parents to start their own businesses so they can ensure a stable income.
By renovating school buildings with demolished classrooms, providing school furniture and providing teachers with teaching and learning materials.
By providing school uniforms, shoes, school bags, transportation and stationeries. This will motivate the children and inspire the future generation.
By giving the access to safe and clean water and stations, build toilets, and recreational facilities.

Islamic Dawah Training Centre works towards ensuring that every child within our communities, no matter their living conditions, is given access to education. Our goal is to help those in need by giving them the tools to pursue a better standard of life.
